The **UniTix Student Ambassador Program** (`unitix.aarx.online/ambassadors`) bridges organizing societies with high-energy student promoters. Ambassadors receive unique cryptographic referral URLs, track their real-time ticket conversion metrics, and compete on campus leaderboards for exclusive rewards and commission payouts.

## 1. Becoming an Ambassador

1. Log into your verified **Student Account** (`unitix.aarx.online`).
2. Navigate to the **Ambassador Portal** (`/ambassadors`).
3. Complete the brief promoter application, selecting your primary campus and active student organizations.
4. Once approved by society or platform administration, your dedicated Ambassador Dashboard unlocks immediately.

## 2. Generating & Sharing Referral Links

To track exact ticket sales attributable to your marketing campaigns, UniTix utilizes dynamic URL parameter tracking (`?ref=[ambassador_id]`):

1. In your Ambassador Dashboard, browse the list of **Active Promoted Events**.
2. Click **Generate Referral Link** next to any event.
3. Your unique cryptographic URL is copied to your clipboard:
   `https://unitix.aarx.online/e/annual-tech-fest?ref=amb_99xyz...`
4. Share this link across your WhatsApp groups, university Discord servers, Instagram stories, and campus marketing booths!

## 3. Real-Time Commission & Conversion Tracking

When a classmate clicks your referral link and completes a ticket checkout:

* **Instant Attribution:** The checkout engine captures your ambassador `ref` token and embeds it directly inside the generated ticket reservation (`referredBy: "amb_99xyz"`).
* **Live Metrics:** Your Ambassador Dashboard instantly increments your **Total Clicks**, **Confirmed Checkouts**, and **Conversion Rate (`%`)**.
* **Leaderboard Rankings:** Compete against fellow ambassadors on the live campus leaderboard. Top-ranking promoters earn milestone rewards, VIP backstage passes, and direct monetary commission bonuses distributed alongside society payouts!
