# The Student Marketplace

The **UniTix Student Marketplace** (`unitix.aarx.online`) is your central gateway to all academic workshops, social gatherings, technical hackathons, and cultural festivals happening across university campuses.

## 1. Event Discovery & Smart Filters

When you land on the homepage, you can quickly narrow down events tailored to your interests using our multi-tag discovery bar:

* **Search by Keyword:** Type any event title, speaker name, or society acronym into the search box (`ACM`, `TedX`, `Qawwali`).
* **Filter by Category:** Browse dedicated category feeds such as *Technology & AI*, *Music & Arts*, *Sports*, *Leadership & Business*, and *Charity*.
* **Filter by University / Society:** Isolate events happening exclusively on your home campus or organized by specific verified societies.
* **Date Horizon Switcher:** Toggle between *Happening Today*, *This Weekend*, *Next Week*, or *All Upcoming*.

## 2. Understanding Event Card Availability Badges

Every event card on the marketplace provides instant visual indicators regarding inventory status and registration deadlines:

| Status Badge        | Meaning                                                     | Action You Can Take                                                        |

| **🟢 ON SALE**      | Ticket tiers are active and inventory is available.         | Click through to select tiers and complete checkout immediately.           |
| **🟡 SELLING FAST** | Over `80%` of venue capacity has been purchased.            | Secure your ticket quickly before the waitlist triggers.                   |
| **🔴 SOLD OUT**     | `100%` of active ticket allocations have been reserved.     | Click **Join Waitlist** to queue for automatic cancellation reallocations. |
| **⏳ COMING SOON**   | Event is published but ticket sales haven't started yet.    | View the exact countdown timer indicating when sales open.                 |

Clicking any event card opens its comprehensive **Event Details Page**, where you can inspect every logistical detail before registering:

* **Hero Banner & Title:** High-resolution widescreen visual and verified society badge (`☑️ Verified`).
* **Date, Time & Venue Map:** Exact chronological schedules and physical venue location (or direct Google Meet / Zoom link for virtual webinars).
* **Rich Event Description:** Full agenda breakdown, speaker profiles, prerequisites, and instructions.
* **Supported By (Sponsors):** Corporate brand partners and institutional sponsors supporting the event.
* **Interactive Tier Selector:** A live pricing table displaying all open ticket tiers (*Free*, *Early Bird*, *VIP Front Row*), showing exact price (`PKR`) and remaining allocation limits.
