# Digital Attendance Certificates

> How to claim verifiable post-event certificates, verify attendance eligibility, and share credentials on LinkedIn.

# Verifiable Academic Credentials

Attending technical workshops, leadership seminars, and academic symposiums adds significant value to your student resume. UniTix features an integrated **Automated Certificate Issuance Engine** that awards verifiable digital certificates to confirmed attendees immediately after an event concludes.

## 1. Eligibility & Attendance Verification

You cannot simply claim a certificate for purchasing a ticket—**you must physically attend the event and get checked in at the gate.**

### The Verification Rule:

* When you present your digital pass at the venue entrance and the organizer scans your QR code (`unitix.aarx.online/scan`), your ticket document transitions to `Used` (`checkedIn: true`).
* Once the organizer marks the event as `Completed` in their dashboard, our automated certificate generation engine unlocks exclusively for students whose tickets carry the verified `Used / Checked In` timestamp.

## 2. Claiming & Downloading Your Certificate

1. Log into your **Student Dashboard** (`unitix.aarx.online`) post-event.
2. Navigate to the **Certificates** tab (`dashboard/certificates`).
3. You will see a list of all eligible past events you attended.
4. Click **Claim Certificate** on the desired event card.
5. The backend generates a high-resolution, branded certificate (`PNG` / `PDF`) dynamically inscribing:
   * **Your Verified Full Name & University Roll Number**
   * **Event Title, Date, and Organizing Society Name**
   * **Official Society & University Logos**
   * **Unique Cryptographic Certificate ID (`Cert-UUID`)**
   * **Verifiable QR Code embedded in the corner**

## 3. LinkedIn & Resume Verification

Every UniTix certificate is permanently hosted on a public verification endpoint (`unitix.aarx.online/c/[cert-id]`).

* When prospective employers or graduate admissions officers scan the QR code or click your certificate URL, they are routed to a live verification page confirming your identity, roll number, and attendance timestamp.
* **One-Click LinkedIn Share:** Use the built-in **Add to LinkedIn** button to instantly attach your verified credential to the *Licenses & Certifications* section of your profile!
