# Student Offline Pass App (UniTix Student APK)

> How to use the native UniTix Student mobile app to store offline event passes, generate rotating QR codes without internet, and sync your pass vault.

    The **UniTix Student App** (`unitix_student.apk`) is a lightweight, native mobile application designed to ensure university students can always access and present their event passes—even in underground auditoriums, crowded basements, or during total campus cellular network blackouts.

    * **Zero-Cellular Venues**: University basements, sports complexes, and auditoriums frequently suffer from severe network congestion or zero mobile reception.
    * **No Waiting on Slow Web Pages**: Once synced, your passes open instantly without loading spinners or network timeouts.
    * **100% Offline Dynamic Pass Generation**: The app computes the time-rotating security QR code on-device every 15 seconds using secure local credentials, eliminating the need to ping a server at the venue entrance.

    ## 📱 Onboarding & First-Time Setup

    1. **Download & Install**: Install `unitix_student.apk` on your Android device (or launch the mobile app).
    2. **Sign In**: Enter your registered UniTix student email address and password.
    3. **Vault Initialization**: On initial sign-in, the app initializes your secure on-device local database and automatically downloads all active event tickets you have purchased or claimed.

    ## 🗂️ App Screen Layout & UI Components

    ### 1. The Ticket Vault Header (`TicketWalletScreen`)

    * **UniTix Wallet Branding**: Top app bar showing the purple gradient ticket icon and the app title.
    * **Student Identity**: Displays your verified name (e.g., *Student Pass Vault*).
    * **Sync Vault Button (`(🔄) Sync Ticket Vault`)**: Tap this icon at any time while connected to the internet to fetch newly purchased tickets or status updates. A rotating spinner indicates active cloud synchronization.
    * **Sign Out Button (`(🚪) Sign Out`)**: Securely clears credentials and returns to the login screen.
    * **Status Sync Banner**: A notification bar at the top displays sync progress:
      * `Passes synchronized with cloud (X passes ready).` (When synced successfully)
      * `Offline Mode active.` (When viewing cached tickets without internet)

    ### 2. Event Pass Cards

    Each purchased ticket is rendered as an interactive card containing:

    * **Status Badge**: Green `OFFLINE READY` badge indicating the ticket is permanently cached on-device.
    * **Price Tag**: Displays `FREE PASS` or the ticket price in PKR (e.g., `Rs. 500`).
    * **Event Title**: Bold heading with the event name.
    * **Society Name**: Listed with a university building icon.
    * **Venue & Date**: Listed with a location pin icon (e.g., *Main Auditorium • 2026-08-25*).
    * **Action Button**: Wide purple button labelled **`[OPEN DYNAMIC PASS 🎟️]`**.

    ## 🔄 The Dynamic QR Screen (`DynamicQrScreen`)

    Tapping **`[OPEN DYNAMIC PASS 🎟️]`** opens the dedicated full-screen entrance pass:

    1. **Top Security Badge**: Green capsule reading `100% Offline Ready • 15s Rotation`.
    2. **Event Header**: Event title and your ticket tier (e.g., *VIP Front Row, General Admission*).
    3. **Dynamic QR Code Container**: High-contrast white container rendering your active time-rotating QR pass.
    4. **Slot Identifier**: Dark monospace pill showing `SLOT #X` (indicating the active time slice).
    5. **Refresh Countdown Timer**: Displays `Xs remaining` alongside a purple linear progress indicator that smoothly drains as the 15-second window elapses.
    6. **Zero-Internet Assurance Card**: Informs gate staff and attendees that this pass is generated entirely on-device and will be successfully validated by the Gate Scanner APK even without Wi-Fi.

    ## 💡 Best Practices for Gate Entry

    1. **Sync Before Heading to the Venue**: Open the app at home or on campus Wi-Fi and tap the **Sync Vault** icon to ensure all your latest tickets are downloaded.
    2. **Screen Brightness**: Turn your screen brightness to high before presenting your phone to the gate scanner.
    3. **Do Not Take Screenshots**: Screenshots are static and will fail gate validation because the time slot expires within seconds. Always present the live screen inside the app.

    ### 1. ٹکٹ والٹ ہوم سکرین

    * **سنک بٹن (`(🔄) Sync`)**: نئے خریدے گئے ٹکٹ ڈاؤن لوڈ کرنے کے لیے یہ بٹن دبائیں۔
    * **سٹیٹس بار**: سکرین پر لکھا آتا ہے کہ کتنے ٹکٹ آف لائن تیار ہیں۔
    * **ٹکٹ کارڈ**: ہر ایونٹ کے کارڈ پر سبز رنگ میں `OFFLINE READY` کا بیج، تاریخ اور ہال کا نام درج ہوتا ہے۔
    * **پاس کھولنے کا بٹن**: کارڈ کے نیچے **`[OPEN DYNAMIC PASS 🎟️]`** کا بڑا بٹن ہوتا ہے۔

    ### 2. متحرک QR کوڈ سکرین

    * **ٹائم کاؤنٹ ڈاؤن**: ہر 15 سیکنڈ بعد QR کوڈ خود بخود تبدیل ہوتا ہے اور ساتھ ٹائمر چلتا ہے۔
    * **سکرین شاٹ کی ممانعت**: سکرین شاٹ کام نہیں کرے گا کیونکہ کوڈ چند سیکنڈ میں ایکسپائر ہو جاتا ہے۔ ہمیشہ لائیو ایپ کھول کر دکھائیں۔
