Super Administration
The Super Admin role is reserved for the owners and creators of the UniTix platform. Super Admins have global access to all data across all universities and societies.1. Society Approvals
When a new student organization wants to use UniTix, they fill out the/register-society form.
To prevent spam and fraudulent organizations from creating events on campus, their account is placed into a “Pending Review” state.
The Super Admin must log into the Admin Dashboard, review the society’s credentials and faculty advisor details, and explicitly click Approve. Once approved, the society’s Firebase token is granted the society_admin custom claim.
2. Payout Processing
UniTix acts as the escrow for all ticket sales. When a society requests to withdraw their funds to pay for their event catering or venue, the request goes to the Super Admin.- Navigate to the Global Payouts dashboard.
- Review the Society’s requested amount against their current total wallet balance.
- Wire the funds to the Society’s provided bank account via your real-world banking app.
- Click Mark as Completed on the dashboard. This deducts the withdrawn amount from the society’s virtual wallet.
