Platform Governance & Compliance
To maintain academic integrity, financial security, and strict regulatory compliance across all participating university campuses, UniTix Operations & Compliance Administration oversees institutional verification, anti-money laundering (AML) audits, and global platform standards.
1. Society Verification & KYC Audits
When a university society submits a registration application, the profile undergoes an exhaustive compliance verification review by UniTix Administration before ticket sales can commence. The Verification Lifecycle:
- Identity & Document Audit: Compliance officers inspect the submitted Society President CNIC (Front & Back) identity documents to verify legal identity and check against financial watchlists.
- Faculty & Institutional Supervision: Administration verifies the official university email address (
@university.edu.pk) of the supervising Professor or Faculty Advisor to ensure the club is an officially recognized campus body. - Banking & Ledger Audit: The submitted International Bank Account Number (
IBAN) and Bank Account Title are cross-checked against official institutional banking records to prevent unauthorized account routing. - Governance Verdict:
- Verification Approval: If all KYC checks pass and the Faculty Advisor endorses the application, the society profile is activated and awarded the Verified Society Badge (
☑️ Verified). - Application Hold / Rejection: If documents are unclear, incomplete, or unverified, the application is placed on hold with detailed compliance feedback sent to the society president.
- Verification Approval: If all KYC checks pass and the Faculty Advisor endorses the application, the society profile is activated and awarded the Verified Society Badge (
2. Institutional Fee Tiers & Financial Standards
UniTix applies a standardized global processing fee (2.5%) across all ticket checkouts to cover automated SMS notifications, payment gateway transactions, and infrastructure reliability. However, UniTix Administration can configure customized institutional tier agreements:
- Charity & Non-Profit Overrides: Approved student charities, fundraising drives, and university-sponsored academic conferences may be assigned custom institutional fee percentages (
0%,1.0%, or tiered arrangements) upon administration review. - Dynamic Calculation: When a custom tier is assigned, the platform’s financial engine automatically adjusts Net Revenue calculations across the organizer’s command center without altering student checkout experiences.
3. Venue Capacity Safety & Compliance Monitoring
To ensure student safety and adhere to campus fire code regulations, UniTix Administration actively monitors event capacity limits across all live events:- Strict Overcrowding Prevention: Event capacity thresholds are locked at the platform level. If a venue reaches its registered capacity limit, ticket sales halt automatically.
- Compliance Infraction Management: If a society violates safety guidelines, attempts to bypass capacity controls, or engages in misleading event promotions, UniTix Administration retains the authority to issue formal compliance warnings, temporarily pause ticket sales, or apply financial reconciliation adjustments to protect attendees.
