Student Appeals & Dispute Resolution

If your event ticket was unexpectedly cancelled by an organizer, or if you experienced an unresolved payment verification issue, you can file a formal appeal through the UniTix Dispute Operations Center.

1. When to File an Appeal

You should file an appeal if:
  • Your ticket was cancelled without a valid reason or refund.
  • You paid the required fee and uploaded a valid receipt, but your ticket was marked as rejected.
  • An organizer altered event terms or ticket tier benefits unfairly.

2. How to File an Appeal

  1. Log into your Student Dashboard at https://unitix.aarx.online.
  2. Navigate to Disputes & Appeals (/dashboard/disputes).
  3. Click File New Dispute.
  4. Select your Ticket Code from the dropdown menu.
  5. Choose the dispute category (e.g., Ticket Cancellation, Payment Receipt Issue).
  6. Enter a clear title and description explaining your case and providing payment reference details.
  7. Click Submit Dispute.

3. Case Timeline & Platform Arbitration

Once filed:
  • Unique Case Code: You receive an official tracking code (e.g., DSP-2026-6281).
  • Society Notification: The event organizers receive an official notice to post their justification or evidence.
  • Discussion Thread: You can exchange official statements and upload clarifications directly within the dispute modal.
  • Binding Super Admin Decision: If the dispute is not resolved amicably, a platform Super Admin reviews the case history and issues a binding resolution:
    • 🟢 Uphold Student: Your ticket is immediately reinstated or a full refund is ordered.
    • 🟣 Uphold Society: The society’s policy is confirmed.
    • 🔴 Dismiss Case: Case closed if resolved or invalid.
