Your Command Center

Once your society registration is approved, logging into UniTix routes you directly to the Society Dashboard. Designed for speed and executive clarity, your dashboard serves as the nerve center for all event operations, ticket management, and financial analytics.

1. Top Navigation & Context Switcher

At the top of your screen, you’ll find your society header and quick-access controls:
  • Greeting & Society Identity: Displays your society logo, name, and current time-sensitive greeting.
  • Current Event Switcher: By default, the dashboard aggregates data across All Events. Use the dropdown switcher in the top right to filter all metrics, charts, and timelines to a single specific event instantly.
  • Notification Bell & Profile: Access system alerts, announcements, and quick settings.

2. Hero Analytics Section (The 8 Metric Cards)

Directly beneath the header lies the Hero Analytics Suite, giving you real-time visibility into your society’s health across 8 dynamic cards: Each card features interactive trend percentages and mini sparkline charts (Recharts powered), giving you immediate visual cues on whether sales momentum is accelerating or slowing down.

3. Real-Time Revenue & Ticket Status Charts

The center of your dashboard provides deep visual analytics without leaving the main overview:
  • Revenue Over Time (Line Chart): Tracks gross and net revenue performance across dates so you can pinpoint how marketing campaigns or early bird deadlines impacted sales surges.
  • Ticket Status Breakdown (Pie Chart): A clean distribution chart displaying the exact ratio of Paid, Booked, Cancelled, Refunded, and Checked In tickets.

4. Upcoming Tasks & Activity Timeline

Never miss an operational bottleneck during crunch time:
  • Actionable Tasks: Automatically highlights urgent action items—such as pending manual bank verifications, unassigned gate scanners, or unresolved refund disputes—with direct one-click links to resolve them.
  • Recent Activity Timeline: A live chronological log showing real-time ticket bookings, approvals, transfers, and check-ins as they happen at the gate.

5. Customizing Your Sidebar (Pinning)

To tailor the workspace to your exact daily routine, UniTix includes an instant Sidebar Pinning system:
  1. Hover over any navigation item in the left sidebar (e.g., Gate Scanners, Analytics, Wallet).
  2. Click the Pin Icon (📌) on the right edge.
  3. The item immediately jumps to a dedicated Pinned section at the top of your menu.
  4. Your pinned layout is saved directly in local storage, ensuring your custom command center loads instantly every time you log in.
